Home Gates on Ferndale & Lakeview

The gates on Ferndale and Lakeview are closed from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  This occurs on the weekends only until the schools are closed for the summer, then the gates are closed daily.  Weather permitting, the goal is to have the gates closed from noon - 9 p.m. or until the Park Rangers leaves.

Do Not Open or Close the Gates
With very few exceptions, only the Police, Park Rangers and City Employees are authorized to open or close the gates. 
Just being a resident, or wanting to launch a boat does not authorize you to open any of the gates. 

Access to the boat ramp is from Pontiac Drive
Access to the Ferndale Park is from Oakwood
Access to the Lakeview beach and all of Lakeview street is from Cheltingham at Garland.
