THE BOARD OF REVIEW FOR THE CITY OF SYLVAN LAKE
WILL MEET BY APPOINTMENT AT THE
CITY OFFICE, 1820 INVERNESS,
SYLVAN LAKE, MI  48320.
 
TUESDAY, MARCH 9, 2021
1:00 P.M. –    4:00 P.M.
6:00 P.M. –    9:00 P.M.
 
THURSDAY, MARCH 11, 2021
9:00 A.M. –    12:00 NOON
1:30 P.M. –    4:30 P.M.
 
In addition, the Board of Review will meet on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 8:00 A.M.
for an Organizational Meeting to prepare for and discuss the procedures for the
public meetings beginning March 9, 2021 including but not limited to Selection of
Chairperson and Secretary along with receiving the 2021 Assessment Roll from
the Assessor.
 
By board resolution, taxpayers are able to protest by letter, (including email), sent
to 4200 Telegraph Rd, PO Box 489
Bloomfield Hills, MI 48303-0489 or MBOR@bloomfieldtwp.org, provided
protest is received before March 11th, 2021 at 4:30 P.M.

DECEMBER BOARD OF REVIEW

A meeting on December 10, 2019, commencing at 8:00 a.m. at the Bloomfield Twp Assessor's Office located at 4200 Telegraph Rd. Bloomfield Hills MI 48303.

Appeals will be heard if there has been a clerical error or mutual mistake of fact relative to the correct assessment figures, the rates of taxation, or the Mathematical computation relating to the assessing of taxes, the error or mutual mistake and appeals for Poverty Exemption.  Also owner of property for which an exemption has been rescinded may appeal that rescission to the Board of Review.
