Credit Card payment are now accepted on-line. An Enhanced Access fee will be added to your payment. Scroll down to see which link you need. Pay Online by credit card or e-check for Property and Water/Sewer Bill or just inquire about your balance. Search official records for current tax collections (delinquent taxes are not reflected on this website) and water/sewer bills. NOTE: When searching for a street name, do not use a suffix such as Road, Rd, Drive, Dr., etc. The system will not return the proper results if you do. Water/Sewer Bills
You will need to provide account number which is located on your bill. We ask you to note in the comments if you are paying for more than one bill in one transaction. i.e. your house bill and sprinkler. They have two different account numbers.
An enhanced access fee will be added to your payment.

$0.00-$50.00 = $1.50
$50.01-$100.00 = $3.00
each additional $100.00 = $3.00
Electronic check is a flat $3.00
Taxes
Tax Payments The Treasurer's Office now accepts payments for tax bills via the Internet or by telephone. This service is provided by Point and Pay to assist Sylvan Lake in accepting tax payments. Information you will need to know when using the payment system
- Your Parcel ID or your property address
- "Winter" or "Summer" tax bill
- Credit card number Or
- Bank routing number and checking account number (the numbers on the bottom of your check)
To pay your tax bill online, just click on link above. You will be redirected to the Point and Pay's web site service where you will be prompted for further instructions and information on paying your tax bill on-line. To pay your tax bill by telephone, dial the Oakland County Tax Hot Line at (248)858-0025 or 888-600-3773. NOTE:
If you are paying online or by telephone, you will be charged a convenience fee.
For summer taxes it is a straight 3% of the tax bill with a minimum fee of $1.50. Electronic check is a flat $3.00.
Permits
Zoning and Sign Permit fees and Business License can be paid by online credit card. You must first submit the permit to City Hall and be issued a permit number before paying online. Payments are not allowed without a permit number. A Permit Form Number is not required to process your payment. To Pay online by credit card or e-check click here: permit pay online. Re-Inspections will not be scheduled without payment received.Dock Fees

Payments will be accepted for docks, park tags, boat ramp keys, park registration, RV Lot, and the Community Center Rental. To pay online click here: P&R online payments. To ensure proper payment, click on Clerk Fees to get the correct amount. The Clerk Fees can be found in the Downloadable Forms section on this site. Please call City Hall if you are unsure as to how much to pay. Tags and Keys will not be issued until full payment is made. Go to the Calendar for Community Center Application, Fees and rules. Your security deposit must be paid by check at City Hall since it is only held and not cashed. The application, rental fee and security deposit must all be received before the reservation date is guaranteed.
Traffic Citation Payments
Credit card payments can be made online via the Internet at: payments. You will need your LAST NAME as it appears on the ticket AND ticket number OR driver's license number. To pay PBT', Impounds, DWLS, parking tickets, false alarm fees, etc. you can pay here: fines online.
