The keeping, raising or breeding of animals, poultry or livestock, including farm animals and nondomestic animals and reptiles [with the exception of common pets] shall be prohibited, except as may be permitted by and under conditions of public safety, comfort, convenience and quiet use of property imposed by the zoning board of appeals.

According to the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, we are notifying all property owners within 300 feet of the parcel in question that the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sylvan Lake Community Center, 2456 Pontiac Drive, Sylvan Lake, MI 48320, to hear and consider any objections to granting this variance.
