Notice of Public Hearing – Community Development Block Grant Funds
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sylvan Lake City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Center, 2456 Pontiac Drive, for the purpose of hearing public comments on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2023 application in the approximate amount of $7,000 to fund eligible projects. The maximum income threshold for this Block Grant cycle will be $28,000 for a one-person household and $32,000 for a two-person household. All interested citizens are requested to attend the Hearing. Comments will also be received in writing or in person at City Hall, 1820 Inverness St. until 4:00 p.m. December 14, 2022. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 72-hour advance notice.
