Recycling
Recycling is included as a part of your normal trash collection.
RECYCLING BINS
You can pickup a recycling bin at City Hall. One per household will be provided. However, it is not necessary to use any specific recycling bin. You can use a plastic "storage" type container or even a cardboard box. Make sure it is marked "RECYCLING" so the contents don't end up in with the regular trash. Place your recyclables in the box and put the box by the street. Please REMEMBER, you cannot put your trash, recycling or yard waste at the street earlier than 5:00 p.m. the day before it is to be collected. You must remove any trash containers or recycling bins by 7:00 p.m. the night trash is collected.
NOW, you can recycle CARTONS and PAPER CUPS!
Cartons come in two types: Rectangular-shaped aseptic cartons and gable-top, refrigerated cartons. Paper cups include coffee cups and cups used for fountain drinks. Remember to empty and clean your items before you place them in your bin.
