Community Development Block Grant Funds Available

The CDBG Program is funding provided from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through Oakland County to the City to assist communities. Sylvan Lake participates in the program to provide lawn services to seniors.

To qualify for assistance, you must be a Sylvan Lake resident, 62 years old or older, and with an income less than $33,150 for one per household or $37,900 for a two-person household. You will need to complete the application, provide identification that indicates age along with your 2023 Income tax return.
 
The services provided may include lawn cuts and fall yard clean-up.
